Top 3 Classic Car Garage Must Haves

A classic car garage is one of the most popular garage remodels out there. We’ve provided a list of the top 3 must haves for anyone thinking about turning their garage into a classic car garage!

  • Garage Flooring. Make sure to resurface your garage floor with something that provides a great showroom look. Your garage floor should wow your visitors and yourself. The right flooring will make all the difference in a classic car garage. In addition to providing a great look, your garage floor should provide easy clean up for any spills. Epoxy coating your garage floor gives it a great look and feel. It’s easy to keep clean and will make your entire classic car garage pop for that wow factor you’re going for!

The results of all 3 done together!

  • Car Lift. If you have classic cars in your garage, and plenty of ceiling height, you may want to consider installing a car lift! The upfront costs can be steep, but they will greatly increase the functionality of your classic car garage. And don’t worry about your garage door. You can have a hi-lift garage door track installed for a minimal price. This garage door track design will allow your garage door to open much higher, clearing your new car lift.

  • Climate Control. You’ve spent a lot of time and money on your garage floor, lift and cars. Don’t let your classic car garage climate destroy what you’ve worked so hard to achieve. Replace your garage door with a strong, insulated garage door. Make sure your garage door is as airtight as it can get. Finally, invest in a good dehumidifier to keep your toys clean and dry.

No classic car garage is complete without these items. Taking your remodel the extra step will make all the difference!

Just wanted to acknowledge the excellent work to repair and reinforce our garage door last week. Mr. Erik Swenson responded to our call for assistance in the evening and promptly replaced our broken spring, added new bearings and strengthened our 20 year old door with new struts and hinges. He even showed us how to lubricate the door mechanisms for years of service. Well done DGD !!!! We’ll see you for an inspection in two years !!!!
