We pride ourselves on community involvement in the markets we serve!
Discount Garage Doors, Inc. is a family owned and operated garage door service company that provides superior service to over 18 counties across the state of Florida. Founded in Brooksville, Florida, DGD believes in supporting the community by giving back whenever possible. Over the past couple of decades, we have been privileged to help out in numerous charity functions, home builds, fundraisers and festivals that all benefit the communities that we service. Below are just some of the ways DGD has given back over the years. Check back often as we are always looking for ways to help others!
Discount Garage Doors was privileged enough to have the opportunity to dedicate our services to the Homes for Our Troops foundation in 2013 for a new home build for one of our troops. We are extremely happy that we were able to provide a new door and operator for SSG Joseph Beimfohr. We relish the opportunity to show our appreciation for the sacrifice our troops are willing to go through in an effort to keep this great country safe. It was our honor to be a part of this project and we look forward to future projects.

An estimated 2.3 million people worldwide live with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The National MS Society is a driving force behind cutting-edge research and development in the fight to end MS. The National MS Society relies heavily on it’s 500,000+ volunteers and fundraising events to help raise awareness of this disease and the funds needed to make great strides in the prevention and treatment of MS. Discount Garage Doors has had a long standing relationship as a sponsor of the Tampa MSWalk. This cause is close to our hearts and we look forward to helping this organization every year.
We are always look for different ways to help out our local communities. This year we had our 3rd annual Thanksgiving dinner turkey fry. Some of our employees volunteered their time to fry 20 turkeys and cook up sides of potatoes, macaroni and desserts. We had enough food for 4 shelters to help feed some of our less fortunate neighbors. DGD looks forward to being able to help even more people next year.
We also had a unique opportunity to help out a community member present itself. The local news released a statement asking for community members to help a neighbor in need that had become too elderly to care for their home. We jumped at the chance to help and sent a tech out right away to diagnose their garage door and get it back to working condition at no charge. We love being in the position to help out our communities when they’re in need.

My name is Charles C. On 1/23/14 I called for my friend Nancy W. who’s garage door had a broken spring and she could not get out. It was an emergency due to the fact that her husband is in serious condition in Shands Hospital and she needed to be able to get her car out to drive and visit with him. I called your company for her and the receptionist was very understanding and said that she would sent a tech out right away. Your tech Brian arrived ASAP and repaired the problem in a timely manner and was very understanding and a good representative of your company. I want to let you know how pleased we were with him and his work. Because of Brian we will both be future customers. Thank you for your prompt service and thank Brian for the good job he did. He is a valued employee and a positive for your company. You could use a thousand more just like him. Thank you again.
